Hello! The district has exhausted the 5 allotted snow days as permitted. Today is the first of 3 blizzard bags. These blizzard bags will be posted to teachers’ Google Classrooms today by 2PM. If you do not have access to a computer or the internet, teachers will provide a paper packet on the first day we return to scheduled classes. Students will have two weeks from the date of return to school to complete these assignments. Once these 3 blizzard bags have been exhausted, the district will transition to remote learning days. Instructions on these remote days will be distributed to students upon our return to school. If you are in need of technology, please contact your building administrator by email.

We are SUPER excited about the addition of our Little Lending Library which is located by the staircase to the main entrance of the elementary building. Students are encouraged to take a book to read. Families are encouraged to drop off gently loved books to share with other students. A big THANK YOU to our maintenance workers, Jim Kuhns and Matt Burghy, who did a fantastic job bringing this idea to life. This is a fantastic way to promote a love of reading and to get books into the hands of our students.
Kindly,
Amber Toriseva

Dear Parents,
Starting this November, our STC Elementary P.E. program, will be holding its annual "Fitness for Fun" program. The program involves providing an opportunity for the children to get exercise. Fitness for Fun is held every Wednesday that school is in session. Grades K-1 and Grades 2-4 will alternate Wednesdays so as to provide more space for each group. The program is held from 3:30-4:15 in the elementary cafeteria.
Each time it is your child's turn, a permission slip will be sent out at the beginning of the week. These permission slips aer to be turned in to your child's teacher on that Wednesday, so that the teacher knows the child may stay after school. Mr. Mozena will supervise your child the entire time.
November 3rd will be the first class for Grades K-1 and November 17th will be for grades 2-4 (*Please note that there is an off week in between, due Mr. Moe being out of town.
Thanks and stay fit!
Mr. Mozena
