I wanted to put out a text to let you know that local law enforcement will be conducting training in the two houses on Woodrow across from the stadium this afternoon. There will be no disruption to our daily schedule or student pickup.

A quick update regarding the HS/MS early dismissal today. We had a strong odor of gas in the basement of the connector. We contacted Columbia Gas and they instructed us to evacuate the building. The buildings were cleared and Columbia Gas checked the buildings. No leaks were found. The odor was due to the barometric pressure (outside cold, heavy, damp air) which caused an issue with venting. The buildings are clear and we will be back on a regular schedule tomorrow. The home basketball game scheduled for tonight will be played as scheduled. Thank you to the parents, staff, and students for making today's dismissal as smooth as possible!

Due to the strong odor of gas, we are dismissing the MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS immediately.
This does not affect the Elementary School.
